About the Project: Center for Project Management & Information Systems (PMIS), University of Dhaka, will appoint trainers in the different fields for “Digital Skills Training Initiative for Students” under the project of Enhancing Digital Government and Economy (EDGE), Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC), ICT Division. We are seeking dedicated and experienced professionals to join our team in the following roles:
Position 1: Training Coordinator-1
Responsibilities:
- Communicate and coordinate with companies for the selection of trainers and trainees.
- Confirm employment and ensure the timely organization of training activities including opening ceremonies, classes, midterm assessments, finals, and certificate distribution.
- Collect attendance records and trainee feedback.
- Engage with various stakeholders, including the EDGE project team, to ensure training aligns with broader project goals and stakeholder expectations.
- Submit monthly timesheets for cost reimbursement during ongoing training activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders.
- Experience in project management or a similar role is desirable.
Position 2: Accountant-1
Responsibilities:
- Prepare budgets and financial forecasts.
- Maintain records of all authentic documents and vouchers.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of Statement of Expenditures (SoE).
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage disbursements to companies.
- Provide support during audits.
- Submit monthly timesheets for cost reimbursement during ongoing training activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong financial management and accounting skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Experience with budget preparation and financial forecasting is desirable.
Position 3: Office Staff-1
Responsibilities:
- Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the Training Coordinator and Accountant.
- Support various administrative functions depending on the specific needs of the program.
- Submit monthly timesheets for cost reimbursement during ongoing training activities.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in office administration is desirable.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under supervision.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
